Scott Johnson currently is the Security Operations Manager/ Commander of NASA Protective Services. He works directly for Chenega Global Security Strategic Business Unit. He works out at Moffett Field in Mountain View California. He is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Security to ensure the safety of location, Physical Security of site, and employment activity of location.
He previously worked at the San Jose Police Department for 28 years as a Police Officer, Sergeant, and Lieutenant. He worked in various Patrol, Investigations, and administrative assignments throughout the department. Those roles included K9 Unit, Metro Unit, Internal Affairs, Sexual Assault Investigations, and various other assignments.
Scott was also assigned as the police coordinator for the SAP Center/San Jose Sharks and is the incident commander for events that occur at the SAP Center. He was assigned as the Assistant Deputy Director for the Northern California Regional Information Center (NCRIC) prior to being reassigned to his current assignment. He has been assigned to various investigative, tactical, and administrative assignments throughout his career.
